While the right people can make even the worst dive bar an awesome time, I'm not seeing the fun in Ocean Beach. The main street, Newport Ave, is less like Newport and more like Chino, in OC terms. I say this because I've partied in both, and while I enjoyed my company last night, it didn't take long to recognize that OB just ain't my scene. Forever destined to be a downtown kid...
