Among my favorite golden birthday gifts is the infamous STYLIT by Beth Jones (thanks Dani!)
Having experienced the magic of the STYLIT herself, she was nice enough to pass the fun along to me. Part planner, part style and inspiration guide, this little book is full of tricks, tips, and tools to keep you organized and your shopping focused.
Since I know a 30x30 challange would be an uber-fail for me, this little baby is gonna keep me mixing and matching on it's own, and there's even a shopping list section so I can remember to buy pieces I need or have had my eye on, instead of wasting my dollars on impulse buys (though easier said than done). Bravo Beth!

Dani has hit the motherload, people. My inspirations, my icons, my obsessions- meet my double girl crush: Erin & Alexa front row at Rag & Bone.
If there was any doubt, this is my future child, rocking Chanel no less.
Thanks to CoCo Celine for finding her!

The best ideas always seem to come when you least expect them! Lips are sealed for now, but can't wait to discuss them with The Daily Dani...eeps I've given away too much already!

Obsessed over BK Circus, and they don't even have a womens line! Urban meets vintage, BKC's chock full of leathers, tweeds, chambrays, and of course, plaids. Just because its menswear doesn't mean I can't style in a few pieces like these awesome finds. Swoon!

| Is it possible that the pieces look more awesome collectively than they do individually?! |

Polka dots, patent, lace, berets, fur, and even some Marilyn Manson. Enjoy! http://live.marcjacobs.com/high/Paul just asked me what I'm doing sitting in the dark. I told him I was re-watching the Marc Jacobs show, that it's more dramatic this way.
...He agreed and laughed. It's good to have a father who understands your love affair. He'd much rather it be clothes than a boy anyway.

So I've been eagerlyyy awaiting Show Me Your Mumu's Spring '11 collection- which still isn't up yet, sorry to tease you haha. HOWEVER, the girls did deicde to release a mini collection benefiting the CARE FOR KENYA charity. Two new mumus and one 'muniversal' tote are up for your over-priced shopping pleasure... normally I'd suggest a DIY, but remember, it's for a good cause!
Obsessing over some of the new Tavik pieces- so plain but so necessary! Might have to rock the flutter top to Coachella with some cutoffs if this weather keeps up. And the boy top- how comfy does that look?! Mix and match with your favorite kinis to maximize combos.

Urban Outfitters is having their cake and eating it too, with the launch of BHLDN, a spin-off ecommerce bridal site. Unveiling February 14th, indie girls can stop looking to UO and Anthropologie for mere inspiration, and start looking for physical goods. Dresses, jewelry and other bridal speciality items will be offered, as well as styling and planning advice. UO also plans to open a select few bridal boutiques in 2012. Ok I can't help it, I'm a little giddy...

Love this Chanel-inspired DIY. A must-try for my February projects...so simple and so luxe!
Here's to Braden Graeber for creating this masterpiece. My friend Aasim over at Sugar & Fluff showed me this little lady last night, and I about died and went to Disney-hipster heaven. The creator openly admits that "Nothing I design or create from here on out will ever live up to the Little Hipster Mermaid" and is actually a pretty funny character himself. Check out Braden's other work here.
