Have headphones EVER looked this good? Bullets AND gold? I'm in love. Testimonials by JFK of MSTRKRFT and Wolfgang Gartner? Sold. Headquarted here in San Diego, you say? Swooning.

I have a hard time with Spring, I'll admit it. As I get older (don't you hate that?), I continue to be drawn to clothes that say "dark and moody" rather than "floral and flirty." Finding looks that tranisition from Winter to Spring, especially now that we're in some sort of seasonal limbo, can just be a bitch.
As I'm feeling uninspired, I like to take a look around and see what everyone else is doing. Rather than copying (don't you hate that, too?), I try to translate the looks I like, with my own pieces and style quirks. These we♥it ones have definitely got me thinking!
1. Giving up my black jeans is a definite no-go, so I enjoy the first look, balanced with a white top and jacket. 2. Loving the textures of the ties below it- lace is always easy to funk up, and the creme color brings a softness to my otherwise edgy demeanor. 3. While I may not play much into florals, I am always down for a great animal or tribal print. Mixed with an airy or sheer fabric, these will be money with denim cutoffs, bike shorts and more.

Is it just me, or is this Spring '11 Mulberry campaign looking a little Juicy Couture to anybody else too? Yeah, thought so.

If you haven't already caught on, Coachella is on the brain. Pretty much non-stop since the beginning of March, so get used to it- we've still got a month to go. These MERRITT CHARLES tops are perfect for that scorching Indio heat! Easy, breezy, boho. Loves it. If you're not familiar with MERRITT CHARLES, I suggest you get to browsin'. And if comfy-luxury is the name of your game, you're gonna love what you see.
Thank you DJ Brazabelle for leading me to these divine tops, and thank you Beach Bunny for taking a much-needed new spin on swimwear. Epic. Coachella much?
By now you might have heard that our glorious 90's Nick shows are on their way back...thank jeebus. The All That and Clarissa Explains It All era holds a special place in my heart, and my closet. A little 90's fashion inspiration ala Rumi from Fashion Toast <3

So I've been drooling over Confetti System for what seems like a year, and you'd think by now I would've just saved to buy one of these pom-pom streamer creations. Nah- you know me too well. Tired of my boring bedroom walls, I attempted to make my own, and while it's not quite up to par with Confetti System, it defintely adds some pizazz to the room!

...Except me. Even after I planned to participate in this month's Everybody Everywear, I did not wear polka dots today afterall. Truth be told, I've never much liked them. They've always held somewhat of a cheesy connation in my book. So instead of giving in and wearing something I hate or made just for the day, I'll leave you with a look I aspire to attain one day, when I'm willing to give polka dots a real chance. Isn't she lovely?

She makes me want to wear bright fucking blue, and I don't even like color! As the accompanying photo for Garance Dore's post on 'How To...Be Assaulted by a Horde of Streetstyle Photographers (Myself Included)' it displays an important element photogs are looking for- color pop. Check out the article for all the secrets to being the next Anna Dello Russo...or, at least being photographed like one.
